Fun at the Zoo

We picked a great day to go to the zoo, only we went a little too late in the day. We went to the Woodland Park Zoo just outside of downtown Seattle. It is an awesome zoo. It was part of our City Pass booklet and was totally worth it. I would like to go back before we leave since we missed about half of the animals. Right as we walked in, there was the penguin tank. You could see over the glass and they had glass showing the penguins under water....very cool. I was able to see Lions, Jaguars, Flamingos, birds and snakes, Giraffes, an Ostrich and lots of other animals. The cages were really interesting. The birds flew around the room and they had mesh surrounding the enclosure. The whole place was full of wonderful foliage and it was very natural looking.
