North Oregon Coast

Onward…

Yesterday was as wet as rainy as it has been for the past week. We went to the Seaside Aquarium. It is a rather small aquarium with the draw being the seals which you can feed for a dollar a tray. James and I both fed fish to the seals. They were so cute, one would clap her fins, another would slash you another would roll over and the last one just looked cute and waited patiently. The rest of the aquarium is small tanks filled with sea creatures and fish, no other large exhibits. It’s a definite do if you are in Seaside, just to feed the seals.

We then went into Astoria where we found the Goondocks. The house has been changed over the years but looks relatively the same. When they actually filmed Goonies, this house was owned by James' Great Aunt who has since passed away.
We then followed our ears down to the docks where there were Sea Lions basking in the rain. They were lined up on one dock, talking to another set on a different dock. There were gulls everywhere and we even saw some Cormorants, or at least I think that’s what they were.

Today we have decided to pack up the trailer and head South-East to the Multnomah Falls area in hopes of just clouds, not downpours.
